Atlantic Equipment Engineers is a leading provider of high-purity metals, metal compounds, and compounds for numerous industries and applications, including military and industrial. The company needed an ultra-clean, streamlined website that would allow clients to browse its extensive product catalog with ease. Our project with Atlantic Equipment Engineers began with an extensive research phase. We performed a Google Analytics review, a content audit of the client’s existing website in order to advise on what should be changed and updated, and a heatmap analysis using HotJar.We built user personas in order to hone in on Atlantic’s key client base at different stages of the customer journey. Partial to the company’s original identity, the decision makers at Bergen Cable asked us to keep the integrity of its existing logo. With this in mind, the new brand identity evolved out of its existing one. Our designer took the prominent triangle in Bergen Cable’s original logo, inverted it, and interlinked the lines that formed the triangle to exemplify the connectivity of cables. He then designed various types of stationary, such as the letterhead, for different uses including invoicing and proposals. Thrilled with the end product, Bergen Cable enlisted us for additional branding projects including its latest brochure and trade show design work.Bergen Cable’s new website was built from scratch to reflect the its award-winning products and service. The custom website offers a clean, industrial aesthetic and darker shades of blue to evoke feelings of confidence, security, and stability—all integral when dealing with safety cable. AAA Innovations, a leading supplier of promotional products to the Advertising Specialty Industry, needed a website that allows their clients to request product samples and quotes from AAA while also allowing new users access to limited content and a portal to request/register an account. At the same time, they wanted to streamline the process front to back to help serve their business needs.The primary challenge of the site was that the product, ordering, and customer systems on the site would have to be driven by AAA’s CRM/ERP solution, Netsuite, which is an Oracle product. All product information appearing on the site is driven by Netsuite, and not via the site admin. Additionally, the orders placed on the site all get passed to Netsuite, and whenever the orders are updated in Netsuite, they’re updated on the site. The same goes for users on the website, their accounts are sent to Netsuite on signup and managed in Netsuite.Since UX is important on multiple screens to any website, the site itself is fully responsive and optimized for phone, tablet, and computer screens. Lform met the challenge of getting the robust product search and filtering mechanisms to work intuitively on phone screens as well as they do on computer screens to ensure AAA had the best ability to convert sales.
