We partnered with Citrusbug Technolabs to develop a cutting-edge web and mobile app solution for our market research team. From initial design to final deployment, their team provided expert guidance and support every step of the way.

Citrusbug Technolabs had a highly skilled and professional team who communicated effectively through various channels such as Jira, Slack, and Zoom. The app they developed for us has been a great success, with over 100 users since its launch.

One area for improvement could be smoother deployments of the web apps in Azure. We noticed some hiccups in this process which caused delays.

If needed they upscale their resources and time with ease, which was impressive.

With a decline in work on our customers end, we ended the outsourcing of code.

I chose to work with Citrusbug Technolabs after interviewing several agencies on Upwork and sending them paid code tests. Ultimately, I was impressed by their results, pricing, and communication. They primarily used Django frameworks for web development, working under the guidance of our lead developer. Assigning them tickets via Jira, along with final designs, they built out features like chat functionalities. Ishan Vyas, the lead developer and co-founder, along with a junior developer named Rahul, and occasional input from a designer, comprised their team.

Thanks to Citrusbug Technolabs’ work, I was pleased with the outcome of our partnership. They were communicative and responsive via Slack and Jira. Their resourcefulness and cost-efficiency were standout qualities. They have their own resources and operate independently, making them low maintenance. They always delivered on time, and their work was largely functional. They were also great communicators, able to chat via video daily.

There were some areas for improvement with Citrusbug Technolabs. It’s important to ensure clear communication and task assignments, as they bill full-time hours regardless of workload. Quality control and frequent communication are crucial with this team. They may need reminders to build for scale, as their strategy may focus more on MVPs.
