I collaborated with Bad Dinosaur to develop a cutting-edge web-based booking system that revolutionized our university’s tutoring program. The system automated the matching process between tutors and students based on availability and expertise, streamlining the entire appointment process. As the platform evolved, we worked closely with the team to implement new features and address any issues that arose. The platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure, included extensive reporting features, Twillo integration for text messaging, and a database on Microsoft SQL server.

I was impressed by Bad Dinosaur’s client-focused approach throughout the project. They were flexible, responsive, and always willing to collaborate to find solutions that met our needs. The team delivered the project on time and allowed ample time for testing at each stage of development. The platform significantly reduced staff time for our tutoring service and improved the overall efficiency of our department.

It’s hard to pinpoint any specific areas for improvement as our experience with Bad Dinosaur was largely positive. Any issues that arose were quickly addressed, and the team was open to feedback and feature requests as the project progressed. Some initial testing gaps on our end caused minor issues, but Bad Dinosaur handled them promptly and effectively.

I discovered this incredible company through industry connections and online research. After meeting with multiple vendors, I was impressed by their passion for our project and their focus on delivering a quick MVP. They excelled at translating our sketches and wireframes into a user-friendly app design and prototype, which we used for pitches and meetings. Their team, consisting of a New Business Development contact, Software Engineer, and Designer, was instrumental in bringing our vision to life.

The project management was top-notch, with all work completed on time and regular updates provided. They made the complex tech environment simple and fun for us to navigate, and their flexibility in scheduling was greatly appreciated. The quality of their team’s work exceeded our expectations and they were always full of energy and ideas to enhance our product.

There is very little room for improvement in relation to this project. The only suggestion I could make is to perhaps provide even more opportunities for client input and collaboration.

They assigned a team of 2-5 employees to our project, which involved creating an app that mirrored our beta testing platform with enhancements. The app needed to be user-friendly, available on both Android and iOS, and easy to maintain.

They were proactive in seeking feedback and incorporating it into their work. Their communication was effective, with regular meetings to discuss progress and provide updates. They were also mindful of our budget constraints and worked to deliver within the agreed timeline.

One area for improvement would be clearer guidance on the necessary accounts and setups required from our end at the beginning of the project. This feedback has been acknowledged by Bad Dinosaur and will likely be addressed in future projects.

Our collaboration with Bad Dinosaur was focused on creating an innovative solution for fan data management in the sports industry. This involved developing a user-friendly platform with features such as account sign-up for clubs, ticket sales, and an admin interface.

I was impressed by how Bad Dinosaur delivered a functional solution that met our needs and was ready for testing with potential clients. Their experienced team effectively managed the project, staying within budget and timeline constraints. Their agile approach enabled them to continuously enhance the technology while developing it.

One area for improvement would be to strengthen the team’s user interface design skills internally, as we had to seek external resources for this aspect. However, their back-end development, integrations, and front-end development were all top-notch.
