What we do? We design, build and launch amazing digital products for startups, existing businesses, and anyone in between! We have an agile approach to building software, and can take on projects at any stage of the client’s journey. We specialise in developing Minimum Viable Products, but also offer services in building clickable prototypes & demonstration apps, branding & design, user testing and hosting. Who we are? Bad Dinosaur was founded in 2013 to solve an industry-wide problem. Having worked as a developer both as a freelancer and in-house, Kyle had grown frustrated with big agencies that worked slowly, and didn’t include the client in the development process. Together with co-founder Russ they established an agency that puts the client first. At Bad Dinosaur you work closely with our designers and developers to understand the problem and for us to collaborate on a solution. In the last few years, Bad Dinosaur has experienced a great deal of growth and has been able to offer more services to help businesses and startups create amazing digital products efficiently and cost effectively. Who we work with? Bad Dinosaur work across a broad range of industry sectors which include: Deathtec, Education, Health, Wellbeing, E-commerce, Financial Services, Oil & Gas and Charity organisations.

Portfolio
Acorn Wellbeing came to the offices of Bad Dinosaur with a plan to build a platform that would both simplify medicine management and improve the healthcare relationship between patients and their local pharmacy.https://www.baddinosaur.co.uk/Portfolio/Acorn
Cheetah had a unique, high quality collection of data, but no easy way to manage it. When Cheetah approached us, they were dealing with a database of over quarter of a million locations world-wide. It was clear to the Cheetah team that they needed a better way to manage such a vast amount of data.https://www.baddinosaur.co.uk/Portfolio/Cheetah
While clubs may talk-up their close relationship with supporters, they often struggle to paint a proper picture of who those people really are. For fans, this distant relationship can be both tiring and ostracising, especially when many have spent their whole lives supporting their club. The key to Fanbase would be in the development of a platform that would allow clubs and fans to come together through the proper management of data and today’s easy-to-use communication tools.https://www.baddinosaur.co.uk/Portfolio/Fanbase

Summary
Working with Bad Dinosaur on our university’s tutoring system was a game-changer for our department. Their innovative approach, responsive communication, and collaborative problem-solving made the project a success. The automated booking system they developed not only saved us time and resources but also improved the overall quality of service for our students.
Project Description
I collaborated with Bad Dinosaur to develop a cutting-edge web-based booking system that revolutionized our university’s tutoring program. The system automated the matching process between tutors and students based on availability and expertise, streamlining the entire appointment process. As the platform evolved, we worked closely with the team to implement new features and address any issues that arose. The platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure, included extensive reporting features, Twillo integration for text messaging, and a database on Microsoft SQL server.
Pros
I was impressed by Bad Dinosaur’s client-focused approach throughout the project. They were flexible, responsive, and always willing to collaborate to find solutions that met our needs. The team delivered the project on time and allowed ample time for testing at each stage of development. The platform significantly reduced staff time for our tutoring service and improved the overall efficiency of our department.
Cons
It’s hard to pinpoint any specific areas for improvement as our experience with Bad Dinosaur was largely positive. Any issues that arose were quickly addressed, and the team was open to feedback and feature requests as the project progressed. Some initial testing gaps on our end caused minor issues, but Bad Dinosaur handled them promptly and effectively.

Summary
Working with this company was a game-changer for our business. They helped us engage with customers directly, develop a strong pipeline of leads, and create a high-quality prototype that exceeded our initial expectations. Their passion, energy, and commitment to our project were truly impressive, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of MVP development services.
Project Description
I discovered this incredible company through industry connections and online research. After meeting with multiple vendors, I was impressed by their passion for our project and their focus on delivering a quick MVP. They excelled at translating our sketches and wireframes into a user-friendly app design and prototype, which we used for pitches and meetings. Their team, consisting of a New Business Development contact, Software Engineer, and Designer, was instrumental in bringing our vision to life.
Pros
The project management was top-notch, with all work completed on time and regular updates provided. They made the complex tech environment simple and fun for us to navigate, and their flexibility in scheduling was greatly appreciated. The quality of their team’s work exceeded our expectations and they were always full of energy and ideas to enhance our product.
Cons
There is very little room for improvement in relation to this project. The only suggestion I could make is to perhaps provide even more opportunities for client input and collaboration.

Summary
Working with Bad Dinosaur was a positive experience overall. They delivered a functional and user-friendly mobile app that met our requirements within our budget. Their understanding of our needs and their responsiveness to feedback were particularly impressive. While there were minor issues with deployment to iOS, the team handled it well and ultimately delivered a successful project.
Project Description
I discovered Bad Dinosaur through an extensive online search and chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget and their values aligned with ours. They assigned a team of 2-5 employees to our project, which involved creating an app that mirrored our beta testing platform with enhancements. The app needed to be user-friendly, available on both Android and iOS, and easy to maintain.
Pros
The team at Bad Dinosaur truly understood our needs and limitations, guiding us through what was achievable within our budget. They were proactive in seeking feedback and incorporating it into their work. Their communication was effective, with regular meetings to discuss progress and provide updates. They were also mindful of our budget constraints and worked to deliver within the agreed timeline.
Cons
One area for improvement would be clearer guidance on the necessary accounts and setups required from our end at the beginning of the project. This feedback has been acknowledged by Bad Dinosaur and will likely be addressed in future projects.

Summary
Working with Bad Dinosaur was a positive experience overall. They provided strategic advice, adapted to our requirements, and delivered a platform that allowed us to onboard multiple clubs and start selling our solution. Despite the need for improvement in UI design skills, their strong development capabilities and project management were key strengths of the collaboration.
Project Description
Our collaboration with Bad Dinosaur was focused on creating an innovative solution for fan data management in the sports industry. This involved developing a user-friendly platform with features such as account sign-up for clubs, ticket sales, and an admin interface.
Pros
I was impressed by how Bad Dinosaur delivered a functional solution that met our needs and was ready for testing with potential clients. Their experienced team effectively managed the project, staying within budget and timeline constraints. Their agile approach enabled them to continuously enhance the technology while developing it.
Cons
One area for improvement would be to strengthen the team’s user interface design skills internally, as we had to seek external resources for this aspect. However, their back-end development, integrations, and front-end development were all top-notch.
