In Vietnam, the relationship between farmers and enterprises in the consumption of agricultural products is not highly cohesive. The reality of production in the Mekong Delta shows that there is often a situation of “mutual distrust” between enterprises and farmers. Farmers often only sell agricultural products through traders but rarely work directly with agribusinesses for fear of betrayal. This leads to the situation of increasing private traders who often force prices of agricultural products.Understanding this situation, ARI Technology has researched and developed a completely new intermediary system to improve the efficiency of agricultural product consumption for farmers and provide agricultural products at reasonable prices for enterprises or end consumers.The system, called Balance, is built as an intermediary between the cost of purchasing from farmers and the price sold to enterprises, stores or direct consumers. Balance will directly search and buy fresh agricultural products from farmers (agricultural suppliers) at competitive prices, creating conditions for farmers to have a better income; then, those agricultural products will be sold from the system at the listed price which not too much different from the purchase cost that ensure the supply of output products can meet the standards of both quality and price.
