Implementation of Queris MES at Toyota Boshoku
The Legnica plant of Toyota Boshoku was looking for a production monitoring and management system that would provide real-time insight into process execution and better quality data for reporting on production progress.A requirement of the implementation was the flexibility of the Queris MES system to be implemented, which should fit into the TPM, Toyota Production System and Lean Management approaches already in place.Exemplary cooperation with the entire Toyota Boshoku Legnica staff ensured a very smooth implementation of the MES system, which quickly resulted in the expected effects. Thanks to the use of our solution, the Polish plant of the Japanese concern has achieved a number of benefits, the most important of which are:Reduced response time to emerging problems on the production line, resulting in time savings and increased process efficiency,Better control over the execution of the production plan thanks to constant monitoring of the production execution,Improve the quality of reporting data with information extracted directly from production line control systems,Improve the fluidity of communication with the ERP system - automatic reporting of manufactured product quantities directly to the ERP.The Queris MES system has also supported the implementation of the TPM approach. Toyota Boshoku is able to use data on production, availability and machine occupancy not only in the area of the Toyota Production System, but also in the area of comprehensive maintenance.
