Project Description

DocSwap is a hospital shift management platform from Citadel Meditech Pty. Ltd., Australia. The platform is built for internal hospital teams to manage their everyday schedules effectively and help efficiently distribute among the active practitioners or residents of the hospital. The project was intended with implementing a faster and more effective way to track and Swap roosters for every term they had within the residency.Product ApproachWe took a full-product development approach. We developed a Hybrid Mobile app for the residents and practitioners to follow every shift they are assigned and give their preferences before the charts are created for the terms. The app also allows them to swap for their with any other practitioner or from the relief pool in case no other practitioner is available to Swap their shifts. We also built a Dashboard for the Medical Admin or a Hospital Admin.Technical ApproachWe built DocSwap hybrid app with React Native and, built the Dashboard and the backend with Laravel. We also chose Tailwind to build the frontend. MySql was chosen as the Database for the project. We also built a custom Algorithm that helped assist the medical admins with the decision-building to allocate shifts to the practitioners with their preference to the availability of the shifts. Once the shifts are auto-allocated, the medical admin also had the ability to change shifts if deemed fit. The solution was hosted in AWS cloud server with OneSignal as the notification hub and library for the project. For mails, Mailgun happens to be the usual choice of preference for 3rd party services. Development ApproachWe got the UI/UX designs approved by the clients and then jumped on with the development process of both app and web app.We followed agile methodologies to develop the product through several sprints and,Used Asana as our project management tool to keep a track of all the tasks contained within the product.

AR Furniture

An Android app to render 3D-Models of furniture in real-time view.Project Details: The ideation behind the app is very simple:Developing a more practical shopping platform.Render almost a real-life 3D Model of furniture.Render models in a practical size.Provide a more practical view of furniture.AR Furniture is another example of a home improvement and furniture store. Using this app, people can see 3D images of furniture in their actual homes. Users can place the selected product on the floor or table. You can move models around and resize them.Product Approach :The approach is simply placing the product in the real world using an AR view of the AR core library and Sceneform UX.The motive was to render 3D Models of real-life furniture. The critical decision was to finalize the framework for rendering 3D Models which renders the models accurately and should not affect the performance of the app. Also, to render the model as per the original dimensions.Technical Approach:We started developing Furniture AR  app by Implementing the app in Kotlin.Utilizing the ar-core framework and sceneform-ux for better performance of app and model rendering. Our main challenge was to finalize the framework for development as the market offers various options. We researched and tried POCs for different frameworks. We found ar-core and sceneform-ux as optimal solutions to use in Kotlin.Development Approach:The development approach for the project was to get the models in the required format and render them in their original dimensions.Upon approval from the Innovation team, for the models, UI/UX, and the development roadmap in mind, we moved on to the further development of the game.Initially, we finalized a recliner as a 3D Model and developed the business part of the app.Later on, we optimized the model rendering and dimensions. In the final stage of the app, we implemented more models and refactored the user interface of the app.

Bright Edutech

Bright EduTech, an e-learning start-up from Assam, India, is building a digital educational infrastructure especially for the students of tier 2 and tier 3 cities. This also includes the rural regions in India. Product ApproachThe motive of keeping the product so simple was to identify the PMF with their USP on the target audience. They were able to reach out to prospective customers and get feedback for their USP (which was to give content in the regional language as both study the materials and pre-recorded videos.)Another important decision & execution made during this period where – the tech was built to support the architecture of an OTT platform at a much reduced price from the prebuilt cloud-hosted solutions like Amazon Cloudfront. With this solution, the client was able to save more than US$ 2000/month in the early days of their MVP which is a major boost for any early-stage startup. The product also involves keeping a restriction on the usage of an account to limited devices. Technical ApproachImplementing the app in Kotlin and,Creating the dashboard and the backend with Laravel. Tailwind as a css framework was a good choice on the frontend for their website.Digital Ocean was chosen as the cloud server handling all our architecture including the Digital Volumes as a solution to the alternative to Cloudfront. Our main challenges technically involved transcoding the large content into multiple chunks and then serving it smoothly without buffering from any point of the video. Development ApproachThe admin is also provided with a Dashboard to easily access and manage the platform for different students and their accounts and also manage the entire content of the app. They can upload, modify or delete any lessons from the easy access of their dashboard. Once a video is uploaded, the backend takes care of all transcoding and updates a lesson after some time with the help of Redis queue.

COMO

A data-driven customer engagement & loyalty solution powering F&B and retail businesses to understand their customers and deliver experiences.Product RequirementThe requirement was to integrate the Como APIs using a web interface on the Lightspeed Restaurant L & K Series, and Lightspeed Retail R Series. The idea was to let Lightspeed customers use Como loyalty in addition to the other loyalty services available at Lightspeed.Technical ApproachThis development was majorly focused on the synchronization of the sales from Lightspeed to Como. Businesses that are connected with Como and Lightspeed can get them registered for this service to enable Como loyalty.Along with the synchronization, it also opens up a web interface on the POS and allows the POS owner to identify the Como customer and help them with discounts and point redemption. The Application is built with Laravel and the Web Interface has a standalone VueJS SPA running.
