They’re building a sustainable game economy where players can earn native FYN tokens for spending time in the virtual world. But with competition fierce, they needed help to get the word out and build an engaged community of supporters.The challengeAffyn knew that they had a great product, and wanted to create a place where players and fans of their game could come together and discuss their experiences. They also wanted to reward their dedicated players, so they were looking for a way to further engage their community. Community building takes time, and they needed to find a solution that would help them quickly build an active user base. The Ninja team was up to the challenge. The goal was to build an engaged and active online community where players and fans could come together to talk, share their views, and gain rewards.The solutionWe knew that Discord and Telegram were the two critical channels to reach Affyn’s target audience. But to ensure that the community had a reason to stay, we needed a plan to keep them engaged. This meant that our strategy needed to focus on two key elements—community building and engagement. First, the goal was to attract new members to the Affyn community. Then, we could work on engagement and retention strategies to keep them there. Moderation of messages was also critical to ensure that the conversations stayed on track and didn’t get derailed.
