As we identified the issues with traditional process, Cipher Labz (Pvt) Ltd have developed a Tea Process Automation System as follows,ØA Humidity Sensor unit is installed in each trough and the humidity of the air is monitored on a real-time basis. ØThe required hygrometric difference between the wet & dry bulb temperatures and the maximum temperature for withering can be preset on the system. ØSynthesized voice alarms are given when the air conditions are not within the set parameters. ØThe system also records the activity on a database which can be viewed as a time graph to indicate the activity during the 12 to 14 hours and could be printed as well. ØThe system also has a provision to control the fans and the heaters, without the requirement of employing a person to monitor the withering process.
