Northwestern’s calendar of arts events includes entries from a variety of different schools and groups and programs. The trouble is that the data is different for each source and there wasn’t a good way to display it all. Caxy created a system that goes into each of the data sources looking for new events and pulls it back to the central system. Then editors are alerted to missing data and images that need to be added before publishing. Once entries are tidied up, the events can be published to the main site so that people can sign up.
