Anthroware developed a mobile app for a hospital system. The app aims to boost employee engagement and help employees keep track of their work hours. Anthroware delivered a high-quality app. They were noted for their strong skill sets pertaining to software development, UI/UX, and engineering. Anthroware also demonstrated authenticity and genuine ownership of the project, which enabled them to understand the needs of the hospital system.Mission Health has 12,000 employees that are lacking the tools needed to access information and resources to do their jobs. They have tools, but they’re not efficient. They have an older intranet that has some information, and other interior websites that offer a different set, but there’s no consolidated set of resources for employees and the teams they work on to help them do their work. They wanted to improve employee engagement, and productivity, and help simplify tasks for employees. They didn’t have the capabilities in-house and the staff to build it ourselves.

Anthroware partnered with PCG to design and develop a self-learning platform that could detect fraud at the point of user input, adapt to unique cases, and increase accountability for staff while generating billions in savings for American taxpayers. In 2020, More than 345 defendants in 51 judicial districts were charged with participating in healthcare fraud schemes involving more than $6 billion in alleged losses to federal healthcare programs. Among all provider types, Personal Care Services accounted for 47% of fraud convictions, as reported by the Dept. of Health and Human Services (2020).The Cures Act mandates that Medicaid-funded Personal Care Service and Home Health service providers in all states utilize an EVV tool. To capitalize on this guaranteed and expanding market, PCG needed an EVV solution that built upon the firm’s longstanding expertise with provider integrity solutions that identify and guard against fraud in the Medicaid space. The OutcomeCareify was piloted in the state of Arkansas to plan and track over 10,000 in-home care visits. Real-time location and data tracking, combined with offline-first capabilities and machine-driven intelligence-enabled in-home patient care to be improved and potentially fraudulent claims by providers to be identified early and mitigated quickly. We are proud to be a part of a solution that reduces in-home healthcare fraud while providing improved accountability for healthcare professionals and increased administrative performance for providers. All while saving American taxpayers billions of dollars every year.
Project OverviewHiveTracks is a smart beekeeping companion, designed to improve bee health and increase productivity. The companion tracks and manages all beekeeping tasks based on personal goals, from increasing efficiency to learning new methods. Utilizing community-derived intelligence, decentralized, real-time bee and environmental data from all beekeepers are aggregated and run through HiveTrack`s own algorithms based on a decade of bee-related data science. Anthroware’s partnership with Hivetracks grew from a mutual passion for global responsibility, data, and positive human impact.Redefining ValueOur initial goal for the project was to develop a comprehensive bee-keeping mobile application that could continue to increase market adoption while providing easy-to-use tools that allow beekeepers to make informed decisions about their hives. Our strategic approach began with our double diamond framework, intended to quickly prioritize high impact features while matching design goals with user needs, in order to hit business-level metrics. Our research team explored and tested findings from a dense network of beekeepers about how they currently interact with their hives, how they capture data at the source, and how they share information among their community. Building in functionality that could accommodate how beekeepers monitor their hives became a key initial driver. Thus, leveraging swipe gestures to collect data allowed beekeepers to maintain their current tasks without disruption. The product could streamline the entry, and provide valuable real-time data to monitor and impact crops and environments.Community-Based IntelligenceReleased in Q1 of 2022, the beekeeper’s companion now…As we do with many projects, starting; with how do we add more value and actionable insights so that beekeepers can continue to learn from the data they capture while growing the health of their hives.
PCG was in need of a digital compliance tool that ensured proper usage of joint state and federal funds while eliminating the complications of outdated pencil and paper methods. Over $250,000,000 of the Medicaid budget is dedicated to supporting facilities and individual beneficiaries. PIVOT, the Provider Information Verification Oversight Technology is a digital compliance tool ensuring proper usage of joint state and federal funds. The starting point: our client won a State contract to perform inspections at 1122 Medicaid-supported healthcare facilities. Anthroware engaged with the client as a partner, to evaluate the current workflow, identify inefficiencies, and build a platform to streamline the process and improve the user experience.Anthroware’s Lead UX Designer performed a dot-voting exercise with the Reviewers to evaluate which aspect of this lengthy and redundant process took the most time and which were the most frustrating. We mapped out the entire workflow and designed a state machine to move every record across each phase, differentiated by user role, and automated reporting. We set out to rebuild the healthcare provider inspection tool based on a state machine, new permission and landing pages for multiple user roles, and building in the intelligence to automate reports. Those gains and return on the investment would have been enough, but our team took it to the next level to prepare our client for scalability. By making the tool flexible enough to drop in new State assessment tools in less than 1 week, our partner could resell this solution to all 50 states.
